BrewPastors is a worldwide movement of people who love God, love people, and enjoy great beer (and wine, too). They lead BrewGroups, which are small gatherings of real people, meeting at local places, offering each other encouragement for when life is hard. Whatever it is that’s weighing you down (sickness, death, divorce, job loss)—we’re here for you. When you’re tired, frustrated, confused, sad, or just sense something is missing in life—we’re here for you. When you’re wondering if you have what it takes—we’re here for you.
If a listening ear and a dose of encouragement over a beer (in Lost Trail's case, a glass of wine) sounds like a winning combination—look no further. We’ve launched BrewPastors with you in mind. So whether you’re seeking peace amidst the storms of life, searching for life purpose or just need a safe place to share your story or shed a tear—you’ve got what it takes and we’re in this together!
The BrewGroup at Lost Trail meets every other Wednesday from 6:30-8 pm. Sometimes the group is in the production room, but on nicer days, it will most certainly be outdoors, around the campfire. Our group is led by Brew Pastor Carmen Everett. We sat down with Carmen so you could 'get to know her' prior to attending one of our meetings.
Q. What drew you to Lost Trail?
A. My friend Megan invited me to visit because she thought I would love the atmosphere, and she wasn't wrong.
How long you have you been participating in Brew Groups?
A. I have been participating in BrewGroups since October 2022.
Q. What made you decide to become a BrewPastor?
A. I talked to my family about it, read God's word, prayed and spent time in solitude. All of these helped me make my decision.
Q. What do you enjoy most about being a BrewPastor?
A. Godly conversations around a table or fire pit.
Q. If someone has never been to a meeting before, what can they expect?
A. I'd recommend visiting the BrewPastors website (on the 'Find out more' button above) for more information, but I'd say the only way to experience BrewGroups is to come to one and see for yourself.
Q. Tell us a fun fact about you.
A. I enjoy the outdoors!
