General Manager Lauren

Lauren grew up in Northfield, Ohio, and graduated from Nordonia High School. She has roughly 20 years experience in retail management, merchandising and customer service. At Lost Trail, Lauren has oversight of all aspects of the tasting room including, but not limited to, scheduling and  inventory management. She also assists in the planning of special and private events and sales representation. 

Lauren answered a few questions for us so you could get to know her a little better.  Be sure to stop out and say hello!

Q. What is your favorite thing about Lost Trail?

A.  The people. I love having the opportunity to make connections with individuals and listen to how much everyone walking through the door truly enjoys the winery and atmosphere. The fact that many visitors say they can't wait to come back makes all of us proud. 

Q. What is your philosophy on customer service? 

A.  You always need to have a certain level of empathy. You never know what kind of day someone is having, and you may have an opportunity to make a bad day better through a positive interaction. It is also important to always be yourself and confident in who you are in challenging moments. 

Q. What do you like most about your role as general manager?

A.  The winery and its owners provide meaning and a great place to gather. I take great pride in the everyday operations, hoping everyone has a great experience, including our staff members. 

Q. What is your favorite Lost Trail memory? 

A.  I'm not sure if I have one specifically, but I do know there are many in the making. 

Q. Please share a fun fact about yourself.  

A.  I do not like scary movies or haunted houses. But, I'll be the first to creep around the corner and scare you. 

Q. Is there anything else you'd like to share?

A.  Lost Trail has made a significant impact in my life and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity it has given me to grow personally and professionally.
